Contact senators to stop taxpayer and employer funded ‘parental leave’ for late-term abortions

The Albanese Government already uses taxpayer money to pay women who end the lives of their healthy babies after 20 weeks and deliver them stillborn.

These payments include:
💰 Stillborn Baby Payment$4,326.57
💰 Paid Parental Leaveup to $22,000

Now, new legislation before parliament - Baby Priya’s Bill - goes even further.

If passed, this bill will force employers to provide paid parental leave to women who intentionally terminate their child’s life in the third trimester.

This is because Baby Priya’s Bill draws no distinction between a natural stillbirth (a heartbreaking, involuntary tragedy) and an intentional stillbirth (a deliberate late-term abortion).

These are not the same.

Employers should not be forced to fund parental leave for a woman who has chosen not to become a parent, and taxpayers should not be made to subsidise it.
