Public Debate with Abolish Abortion Australia

We would love to invite you to join us for a powerful and timely debate on one of the most important strategic questions facing the pro-life movement today.

Abolish Abortion Australia has advocated against Sarah Game’s bill banning late-term abortion of healthy babies and John Ruddick’s bill banning sex-selective abortion in NSW.

We challenged them to a debate and we are delighted that they accepted!

As the pro-life movement continues to grow around the world, there is increasing discussion around how to end abortion. This important debate will unpack the key arguments, challenge assumptions, and equip you to think clearly about the path forward.

Bird Flip will be hosting this important conversation, with MLC John Ruddick moderating what promises to be a thoughtful and robust debate.

The debate question is:

Australian politicians are morally obligated to vote for a bill that bans late-term abortion.

Dr Joanna Howe and her husband James Howe are the affirmative, and Elijah Harris and Todd Boaden from Abolish Abortion Australia are the negative.

One member from each team will make a short opening statement, which will be followed by extensive time for free debate between the two sides.

The debate will conclude with a short time for mingling amongst the guests.

Tickets are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

If you care about protecting the unborn and want to better understand the strategy behind lasting cultural and legal change, this is an event not to miss.

I hope to see you there.
